BA from Sarah Lawrence College (1984); M.A. in expressive arts therapies from Lesley College (1992). Tovah has worked as an expressive therapist/therapeutic teacher, a multimedia artist, an arts director/teacher for an inner city day camp, and as an expressive arts teacher. Community involvement includes peace activism as well as participation on several committees of her co-housing community and her synagogue, Congregation Bet Haverim. Has served on Gaia Gardens Committee, which oversees ELC’s organic farm and its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, and ELC’s Neighborhood Connections Committee, which builds relationships with the larger community surrounding the Commons.
