About 170 years ago, Alexis de Tocqueville made the observation that America was made up of a network of voluntary associations. True. Look around today – there is no end to the number of interest groups with well-meaning and compelling initiatives.  Enveloper®.  From time to time, we too either spearhead or engage in community initiatives that allow us to embrace our community. For example, we might devote time each week to tutor elementary students or have members of our staff serve on United Way committees.
