Plans on the drawing board for the Birmingham Federal Reserve Building in downtown Birmingham, Alabama include a two-phase redevelopment of the facility. The Federal Reserve Building's historic façade will be restored, and Melaver, Inc. has committed to seeking LEED-NC Silver certification, assuring tenants of the most modern, efficient, technologically advanced and productive workspace available in the Birmingham MSA.

Following renovation, there will be office space, and potential restaurant space. Irreplaceable improvements such as the bank’s vault systems will be preserved and incorporated into unique tenant amenities.
