210 Taylor Street Savannah’s Historic District

Melaver construction and development is currently renovating a historic residence on Taylor Street.  All floors of this three-story home will be expanded toward the garden and carriage house, including enlargement of the kitchen on the parlor level.  The residence is currently in the LEED® for Homes Pilot program with a target of Platinum status, and will also be seeking certification as an EarthCraft Energy Efficient Home.  This property will be a showcase for innovative sustainable products including solar panels, recycled glass flooring, an underground cistern, a geothermal loop system for heating and cooling, and salvaged wood from the original historic structure.
