Sustainable Fellwood
Sustainable Fellwood Savannah Georgia

Sustainable Fellwood is a 27-acre site on Bay Street, located on the Westside of downtown Savannah, GA.  Initially part of the southeast’s magnificent longleaf pine forest, then agricultural land, and finally the site of Savannah’s first housing project, Sustainable Fellwood today is envisioned as a mixed-use development encompassing  220 Public/Affordable Housing Units, 75 Senior Housing Units,  a dozen  first-time homeowner units, market-rate town homes, 40,000 Square feet of retail, medical, and technical space, a clubhouse, an organic community garden, and significant common green space - based on 200 year-old design elements.

This innovative development will not only be Sustainable, but appealing with walkable paths and distinctive green space. Energy efficiency is a key component and the end-user energy costs will be reduced through maximizing use of natural day lighting, thermally-efficient windows and exteriors, highly-reflective roofs, and EnergyStar appliances throughout.
