Melaver, Inc. Receives "Outstanding Business - Grand Award for 2007"

SAVANNAH, GA –  The Georgia Urban Forest Council awarded Melaver, Inc. the Outstanding Business – Grand Award for 2006 for efforts in tree planting in the community and for initiatives in the reduction of carbon emissions.  The award was presented on November 16, at their annual conference on Jekyll Island.


Melaver, Inc., a sustainable real estate developer based in Savannah, has partnered with the Savannah Tree Foundation and community volunteers to plant over 300 trees in 2006.


The mission of the Georgia Urban Forest Council is to sustain Georgia's green legacy by helping communities grow healthy trees.
