SAVANNAH, GA –  The Urban Land Institute Atlanta awarded Abercorn Common Shopping Center in Savannah an Award of Excellence at the 2006 ULI Atlanta Development of Excellence awards banquet on Thursday, September 21, 2006.
Abercorn Common was the first all retail project in the United States to become LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Silver certified in April, 2006.   Abercorn Common is part of Melaver, Inc.’s  sustainable property portfolio.
The Urban Land Institute is a nonprofit research and education organization supported by its members.  As the preeminent, multidisciplinary real estate forum, ULI facilitates the open exchange of ideas, information and experience among local, national and international industry leaders and policy makers dedicated to creating better places.
