Cathy Rodgers
Marketing Coordinator & Brand Manager
Staff member since 2004
Cathy coordinates Marketing initiatives at Melaver, Inc. She serves as point-person with our outside Marketing and PR partners, as well as the go-to person in-house for all marketing and web-based needs. Part design guru, part techno-geek, Cathy’s responsibilities include producing and/or overseeing the production of all marketing materials, coordinating such efforts with our outside marketing folks, participating in the design and layout of such materials, working with our outside IT partners to ensure that our back-of-house web coding does what it needs to do, updating information on both our outside website and our internal intranet site, and serving as a clearinghouse for general information regarding sustainable initiatives. She has a strong penchant for getting us all to quit pondering possibilities and make decisions, accompanied by a distinctive laugh that makes you wonder “oh, no what did I do now.” She became LEED Accredited in June, 2005. Cathy is a Board member of Performance Initiatives Inc., the Savannah Advertising Federation, and is on the 2008 Light the Night Executive Committee. She is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council Savannah Chapter, Buy Local Savannah, and volunteers with Light the Night - The Luekemia & Lymphoma Society. She is a Certified Master Gardener and was nominated as a Buy Local Advocate in 2007. When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up?
